  2. Our school doesn’t have computers. We can’t possibly use something like this.

    Yes, you can! Setting up your campus with computers is not as hard as you may think. Skoolee can help with remote hosting options, hardware package deals, and possible sponsorship opportunities.
  3. We don’t have Internet access. Can we use Skoolee Tools anyway?

    At school, you can access Skoolee Tools through the school’s internal network or on a single computer. If you want to log-in to Skoolee Tools from off campus, you will need Internet access, a user name and password.
  4. We don’t have a school web site. Is that a problem?

    No problem. We can develop a web site for you. If you do not want a web site, we can provide an alternate web address for your users to log in and access Skoolee Tools.
  5. Our school already has software that we’ve paid for and that we’re used to. Does SkooleeTools replace it? Or can it work together with our software?

    We understand that school employees are accustomed to programs you’re using now. That is why we have seamless integration with the software you’d like to merge with the Skoolee Tools application. Your school will get a customized version that fits your specific needs.
  6. How much does Skoolee Tools cost?

    Skoolee Tools provides “Essentials” at a standard cost and additional “Add-On” Modules at varying prices. After the initial purchase of Skoolee Tools software, you pay no obligatory costs thereafter. Request a 15-minute presentation, and we can discuss the topic in more depth together.
  7. How much does Skoolee Tools save?

  8. How do we access Skoolee Tools?

    Skoolee Tools is an online application. Therefore, you can access it over the Internet. However, it is also a stand-alone product, accessible through your school’s computer network or via a single computer.
  9. Who will train us to use Skoolee Tools?

    We will! Skoolee Tools uses a “train-the-trainer” approach. Your school’s Skoolee Tools administrator, teachers, and other staff receive a total of five training sessions after the purchase of the software. Skoolee Tools is an intuitively designed application, so learning to use it is easy.
  10. Is it difficult to use Skoolee Tools?

    Not at all. The development team at Skoolee Tools has repeatedly performed usability and quality control testing to ensure that the interface is intuitive, easy to use, and quick-to-learn.
  11. Is Skoolee Tools offered in multiple languages?

    Skoolee Tools has been developed specifically for the Middle East and North Africa region. Therefore, we offer the interface in English, French, and Arabic. That doesn’t mean we can’t offer Skoolee Tools in other languages! If you have a specific request, we’re more than happy to work with you.
  12. What are the steps required to get Skoolee Tools in my school?

    The ‘rollout’ of Skoolee Tools takes as little as one month:
    a. Listen to our Introduction Presentation — 15 minutes
    b. Experience a live Skoolee Tools Demo — 70 minutes
    c. Complete & submit a Customization Requirements Agreement
    d. Set-up of system and provide/input data
    e. Train the trainers
    f. Receive after sales communications & technical support
    g. Provide feedback regularly
  13. Who inputs all our information into Skoolee Tools?

    It’s your choice. If you would like our team to import your data into Skoolee Tools, we can be system-ready within 15 working days.
  14. Who will maintain Skoolee Tools after we purchase it?

    After purchase, your school will have one or more Skoolee Tools Administrator(s), generally but not always IT Department personnel. These staff members will be assigned to manage Skoolee Tools in your school and are the main link with our team.

    Included in the Skoolee Tools package is five standard training sessions for your staff; additional training is available upon request. Teachers and parents generally require no more than two sessions, while the rest of the training is dedicated to Skoolee Tools Administrator(s). Skoolee’s technical support team fully supports schools 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  15. Are there hidden costs?

    You will discover no hidden costs and no obligatory annual commitments. Once you purchase Skoolee Tools, it’s yours.

    We will communicate upgrades and additional modules on a regular basis, but these are optional. Upgrades and modules generally do not exceed 20 to 30% of the original purchase price.
  16. What’s the difference between Skoolee Tools Essentials and Add-Ons?

    ‘Essentials’ is a package of basic modules that runs the engine of Skoolee Tools. ‘Add-Ons’ are extra modules that give you greater management capability.

    Our most popular ‘Add-On’ is Skoolee Scheduler — creating 100% conflict-free timetables in a fraction of the usual time.
  17. If we need a module that you don’t have available, can you develop it for us?

    We consider your feedback essential in identifying real needs for new modules. Let us know what you’d like to add to Skoolee Tools, and we can explore the feasibility of a new module.

    Some schools, for example, have requested Skoolee Yearbook and the Skoolee HR Management.
  18. What’s the difference between Skoolee Tools and Skoolee.com?

    Skoolee Tools is both a School Management and Student Information System specialized for and purchased by schools. Members of the school community – principals, teachers, students, parents, and IT administrators – use Skoolee Tools modules to make the school the best it can be.

    Skoolee.com is the complementary online community to Skoolee Tools. With launching in 2008, Skoolee.com is a social academic network designed to provide resources to educators, parents, and students to achieve better performance and to address needs of the younger generation.

    To name a few features: teachers will network and share lesson plans. Students will find resources to strengthen subjects and participate in community events sponsored by Skoolee. Parents can download study material and parent guides; in addition, they can feel at ease with secured Internet searches. There’s certainly more to come.
  19. How do we stay updated on the latest Skoolee Tools modules and features?

    The Skoolee Team has customer service and technical support departments dedicated to keeping in regular contact with your school. With our after-sales communication, you will have no problem learning about upgrades, new modules, and other packages we have to offer.

    You’ll also see Skoolee at educational conferences and exhibitions around the region. Conferences—coupled with community event sponsorships—help establish Skoolee as an educational leader in the Middle East and North Africa.
